Lots of Stuff I've Been Making
1. Big Sister Outfit
\
Chess is all ready to wear this outfit to meet her baby sister next month.
2. Turkey Shirt
I made this turkey applique on a T-shirt for Thanksgiving.
3. Car Seat Cover
Chess was born in the spring, so we didn't need to cover her up very much. This baby will be pretty tiny all winter, so I thought I would try to make a fleece cover for the car seat.
He he. Here is Chess's CPK trying out the zipper function.
5. Little Purse
a birthday present for my cousin
6. Travel Game Bag
a birthday present for another cousin
You can play tic-tac-toe or checkers with the felt game pieces stored in the bag.
7. Boutique Overalls
These things cost upwards of $30 to buy!
So I bought the overalls at Goodwill for $3.00...
and 1/4 yard of fabric for $1.00, and used some ric-rac I already had, and...
tada! I think they're almost as cute as the girl wearing them.

Chew Your Food
Chess has a pretty good sense of humor. When I notice she has a lot of food in her mouth or needs to take another bite, I tell her to "chew your food," or "eat your food." This is what she does when I say that to her:
