I decided to make the girls' Easter dresses this year. I don't know why. It really stressed me out. Projects with a deadline are not good for me in this stage of my life. I have so many great ideas and aspirations, but following through with them is another story. The Easter dresses did get finished, though.
I wanted them to be different, but coordinate.
Chess is getting faster and harder to take a picture of. I'm getting her two-year-old pictures taken tomorrow, so wish me luck.
I actually "designed" her dress. I say I never have an original idea, but this time I got some inspiration from here and there, and just made up the pattern on my own. I'm pleased with it.
Lera's is from a pattern I found online. I just added an extra ruffle and sash.
Look at my sweet girls.
Chess's face cracks me up.
Chess loves her baby sister.
I love them.

Amazing! I love the dresses and I'm even more impressed that you created Chess's on your own and elaborated Lera's. Brilliant and talented!
