I was having a hard time getting Chess to drink from a regular cup. Sippy cups are, of course, very convenient and easy to use. I probably wouldn't have even thought about using a cup yet, except that in nursery at church, they use little paper cups, and I happened to look in on Chess during snack time as her teacher was helping her drink from it. "Hmmmm, guess we should work on that at home," I thought. The juice cups we had were a little too big and poured out too fast when tilted, and she refused to drink out of a sippy cup without the lid b/c she strongly insisted (aka: shouted) it had to have the lid on it. Luckily, we had a shot glass from my friend's wedding a few years ago. It was the perfect size for her little hand and mouth to practice with, and the juice (which she only drinks occasionly) offered plenty of motivation. Now she is a drinking pro (usually) with the regular juice cups.
Cheers!

That top pic of Chess is hilarious!! BTW, threading is a technique they use in India where they take a piece of thread and twist it in a way that it creates a hole. Then they use that hole to remove the hair by putting it on your skin and pulling. It hurts soo bad. I have had my eyebrows down and my upper lip before. The hair comes out so well and lasts longer than waxing. That probably sounded confusing. There may be some pics online.
Mmmm, I'll have me another shot of apple juice!
