Stuff I Made

I've been trying to sew and make neat things lately. Here they are:

Hats

first one I tried - very simple and cute

second one got fancy with a stripe

I tried a different pattern the 3rd time and made it too small for my wee one's head.

Sleep Sacks

This one is made from a blanket - very easy and keeps her warm without me worrying about pulling it over her face.

This one was also a blanket first.

I made this one out of left-over fleece from her Halloween costume.

Clothing

This dress was her favorite Christmas present :)

I made this dress out of a big shirt I got at the thrift store for $0.25! I haven't tried it on her yet, so I hope it fits.

Then I made these pants with the sleeves of the same shirt.

I made this sweatshirt out of one that was mine, but too small for me. I loved it because I didn't have to sew any hems!

Miscellaneous

I got brave by making some booties. I found a tutorial online. They are kinda crooked, and Chess prefers to eat them rather than wear them.

I love my Christmas bow.

Chess's big car seat didn't come with neck protector things, so I made some.

And finally, a purse I made for a little girl's birthday gift.

More projects are in the works, so I hope y'all don't mind seeing them!

That's funny, Mary. I thought someone might think that. We are waiting in line to vote. Our community center is right by a graveyard. Either that, or we were at a funeral, I don't remember.

You are the so dang crafty and amazing. I LOVE the brown dress she's wearing. I'm also impressed with your "upcycling". Very green and awesome.

Ali, you have a lot of talent! Keep posting stuff you make, I like seeing everything. Are you going to start your own business and make some extra money, or what?!

Dang, girl! SO cute!! I wished I lived closer so we could get together, let the kids play and sew our hearts out. And I'm super impressed with the dress you made out of a t-shirt and the pants from the sleeves!!

You're so crafty! Hey, can you make an adult sized hat with the cuffs that go over the ears. The grey one? I want one of those!
