Easter Egg Hunt #1

I made these Easter shirts and Chess's skirt for the girls.

They were looking at Jared when I took this picture.

My favorite.

Ready to hunt some eggs.

Ready to watch.

This was our town Easter egg hunt and it was crowwwwd-ed. I think Chess got about 6 eggs. We were happy with that. It was funny because this particular hunt was for ages 1-2 (not that everyone followed that rule, but that's beside the point), and parents were with their kids saying, "Go! Get some more!" Gee whiz. Relax, people.

Chess was happy just running through the fields.

And she does love a good jumpy castle.

Afterwards, we checked out a new park in our area.

Then we played outside more that day when we got home, because we just couldn't get enough of the beautiful weather.

This was Lera's first time swinging and she loved it.

The girls outfits turned out darling!!! I don't know how you do it...my kids are all over my sewing stuff once I break it out - so I rarely do :( You did SUCH a great job.

Very cute! I especially love Chess's little skirt.

I'm sad we missed that Easter egg hunt but we didn't get back in town until later that night. You know the reason the parents wanted their kids to get more eggs is so that they could go home and eat them themselves...or maybe I'm the only one that does that. :)
