Jared's Birthday
Mother's Day
Playing outside at Nan-Naw's house. This play house was built when my mom was a little girl.
There is always a competition to be had.
Mom and girls.
Four Generations
Mimi with her youngest grandchild (for now).
I love my aunt, Stacy.
My Birthday
Girls Being Cute
Yes, that is marker on her tongue.
Lera is getting more mobile. Not quite crawling, though.
Lera is eating Cheerios now and drinking water from a sippy cup.
Did I mention there were a lot of pictures?

6 Months old
Lera is now over 6 months old. She is lovely.
Here are six things about her:
1. She weighs 17 lbs 9 oz, so almost double her birth weight.
2. She is a rolling machine. She can get to any of Chess's toys that are on the floor (Chess is working on not snatching).
3. She is such an easy-going baby. People ask me if she ever cries. She does, but rarely when I am in her sight.
4. She smiles a ton, but doesn't laugh a lot. When she does, it is usually at Chess or when she's being tickled. She's very ticklish.
5. She doesn't care much about sitting up. She's doing better at it, but she will promptly arch her back so that she can stand (holding hands) or roll around.
6. She fits perfectly into our family. We are so thankful she's ours.

How many tries?
Question: How many tries does it take to get a good photo of five kids five and under?
Answer: More than I have shown below, but these are the funniest ones.
a little fidgety
Where are you going, Will?
My favorite - look at Lera.
Emma's eyes are closed.
No tummies exposed, please.
Ahhhhhhh.....pretty good.
Amy, Andrea and I got a good work out while capturing these pictures for part of Momma's Mother's Day present. We're glad she likes it!
And, here are two of my lovelies, because it's my blog and I can.
